So, life hasn't been busy perse... but its been harder to come up with things to blog about because of my frustration with my weight.
Although, switching to an almost fully vegan diet, has got me sitting at 207 right now.
(I think I may be wrong, as my scale batteries are dying, I am going to try the wiifit weigher)
Things are looking up for me. I got bored with running a home based business, so I am getting a job, interviewing for a second time today, front desk at a lodge. Wooo. I had originally applied to do brainless housekeeping, figuring not only will I get better and more meticulous with cleaning, but I'll also get in shape wandering the hotel all day.........but front desk is a better fit for me.
Soooo, after this interview today, i'll be setting up my office for useability again.
Maybe then I'll blog more!

day whateveritis.
Okay, so I am not cut out for blogging. I fail to update.
I have been lethargic lately. I don't like it. Haven't wanted to wiifit, haven't wanted to do much of anything at all. I have on a plus side been eating a lot better. I am enjoying eating vegetarian foods, avoiding dairy and meat, and any animal byproducts.
I am supposed to go get bloodwork done to test my thyroid.
I have been eating very well for the past 6 months. When I lived in the city, and there was fast food around all the time, I would eat fast food 4+ times a week. I would eat pasta as full meals, with white sauces, indulge in chips and pop regularly. I was very unhealthy. I topped the scales at 240 about a year and a half ago.
In July of last year, I moved to a remote town, about 2.5 hours outside the city I used to live in.
When we moved here, we ate less pasta, more veggies and whole grains, instead of white rices, and pastas, I have whole wheat pasta, and as a side. In 6 months, I've had fast food maybe 5 times. I haven't been able to lose a pound. I get more activity, I eat amazingly well.
So that takes me back to the reasons behind why I'm getting my thyroid tested.
It seems impossible to me that I haven't lost a pound. Im losing my drive for sex, for moving, for anything....
So maybe im on the right path to finding out whats wrong...

Day twelve.
Today is a day of change. For the world.
Today, Barak Obama, became the 44th president of the United States of America. This is a glorious day.
If a black man, can become president, then I can lose 30 pounds.
(okay, not the BEST comparison, but still, it shows that change is possible)

Day Six. - Re-kindling the Romance.
I went for a jog last night.
For most people, this wouldn't be an "Oooh Aahhh" type spectacular event. For me? Its colossal!
I have Asthma. I am a smoker. I know the two are foolish to do together, but that's me. I have been a smoker since I was 14. (Sorry M+D if you're just learning this, but I'm sure you both knew)
As a kid it was so chronic, I wasn't able to run. I did PE class, but never really participated. I stuck to things like dance. Things that were movement-y, flow-y, but didn't require me to have full cardiovascular involvement.
Anyways back to my jog? I LOVED IT. It was short, and sweet, but done correctly, and with the puppy helping me keep pace.
Oh, and a figured out why I packed on 5 lbs. Gotta love moon cycles.
So today, my goal is to take the dog for two, yes count'em two jaunts around the block. Once this morning sometime, and once this evening.
Breakfast (9am)
Oatmeal Crisp with Yogurt instead of milk.
Snack (12am)
Soy yogurt and banana
Lunch
Peperoni (Shoosh, I was on the run)
Dinner (545)
I'm making pizzas on spinach Naan bread.
Mine has spicy calabrese salami, goat feta, mushroom, tomato
Today I bought rainbow chard, I just gotta figure out how to cook it, and fresh beets.
I'll make something colourful and exciting tomorrow I guess!!

Todays physical activity was me going for a jog again. Theres nothing quite like a brisk jog at 11pm. It was gorgeous out. Slightly foggy, not too cold, and no one around to watch my flail!
Tomorrow I will wiifit again.

Day five.
I feel so sedated. Not the usual kind like, "blah I'm tired", but more like all the time. I have no drive to do anything, and I really REALLY like my comfy assgroove. Even things I could do, that I enjoy doing, I just don't want to do.
It's probably SAD. Excercise and sun. NEED it.
So onto today.
I had appointments this morning, so I missed breakfast (Okay, I had coffee)
Had a egg, spinach, roasted red pepper, and goat cheese frittata with my Muddah this morning. IT was delicious. I had rye bread with it, and it came with a smoothie shooter... YUM.
Haven't wiifit yet. Getting the energy to do that.. is coming...?
*sigh*

Day Four.
Please heckle me. I didn't get off the couch yesterday.
Today, is a new day, and I have plenty of time to get on the board. I can do it.

Here is where I run into issues. Committment. I have lots of fears of committment. Or something... I don't commit to things easily. I have a hard time staying committed. I am saying this out loud, in hopes of being able to overcome it.
I CAN DO THIS.
I can commit to life change. Life strenghtening.
So with that, here is breakfast
Breakfast (12pm)
200 grams of yogurt
1 banana
1/2 handful of peanuts.
Lunch (130)
1 egg
Onions
1 slice of toast.
Dinner (530)
Spicy Peanut Satay Stirfty.
Cauliflower
Broccoli
Salmon
Carrot
Zucchini
AND I GOT ON THE WII FIT.
45 mins, my weight has gone up .2 lbs.
Time to reward myself with some DOING NOTHING :D

Day Three.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.................
......kidding.
Thats how I feel today. My abs? Yeah, still hurt. Which leads me to believe that I really DO need to do this more. Day two/three every time I work out are the worst.
Today I totally pussed out. Its 8pm, and I still haven't stepped foot on the wii... almost scared to really. I could blame me just getting over a chest cold, but I won't. I'm just worn out!
I am going to make the attempt, and do some yoga only tonight... go nice and easy for relaxation.

So dinner tonight, was my twist on something craptastic!
We had Kraft Dinner (yeah, lazy day) with chorizo sausages.
I had 1/3 a bowl of KD, 1 cup of spinach, and 1 chorizo sausage.
(not too bad considering I technically ate a bowl of processed crap)
Will update as to if I hop back on the horse or not. Please to heckle if I don't.
